About the Role

We are seeking

Customer Service Representatives (CSR)

to support the

New Jersey State Base Exchange (NJ SBE) Project

during the annual

Open Enrollment period . This is a front-line role providing both

contact center support

(inbound/outbound calls) and

back-office support

(data entry, document processing, application updates).

As a CSR, you will guide individuals and families through applying for healthcare coverage, answering inquiries, assisting with application processing, and resolving consumer issues-all while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with program standards.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay:

$18.00/hr. | $19.00/hr. bilingual (English/Spanish) Training Schedule:

3 weeks (M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST) Must be on camera for all training and nesting sessions.

Hours of Operation (Open Enrollment, 11/1 - 1/31):

Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST Sat: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Sun (last two of OE): 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Final three days of OE: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM EST One week after OE ends: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST

Non-OE Hours:

Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Attendance is critical during training and nesting.

Pre-scheduled absences may result in removal from the project.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls from consumers and provide accurate information about health care coverage. Assist individuals and families with new applications, eligibility determinations, plan enrollments, and updates. Document all consumer interactions accurately in the system. Process life event changes, demographic updates, and disenrollment requests. Provide translations and escalate issues as required. Attend meetings and maintain knowledge of all policies, systems, and updates. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or higher preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 6 months in customer service, call center, or related role. Strong computer and data entry skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Prior headset/phone system experience preferred.

Language:

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred (requires assessment). Technical & Home Office Requirements
