We're looking for a skilled

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

to join our Phoenix, AZ ice cream production team. This is a

full-time, onsite role supporting our

3rd shift operations . Currently scheduled for 5 days per week, this position will increase to 6 days during our busy season. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

This is a

contract-to-hire opportunity

with the potential to extend or convert to a full-time permanent position based on performance.

Shift:

9:00 PM 5:30 AM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 09:00 PM to 05:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our high-volume production facility running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support

Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM)

and

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

programs. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including valves, valve actuators, gaskets, seals, and HTST systems. Read and interpret blueprints to diagnose equipment issues. Complete maintenance work orders, reports, and system entries accurately. Ensure compliance with

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) , OSHA, and plant safety regulations. Support

continuous improvement initiatives

to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Keep maintenance and production support areas clean, organized, and safe. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve breakdowns and prevent future issues. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to building a

world-class manufacturing environment . Qualifications :

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

2+ years of maintenance technician experience

in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to lift up to

50 lbs

and work in a physically demanding setting. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams); ability to perform data entry. Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems (valves, gaskets, seals, pumps, etc.). Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics. Willingness to work flexible hours, including

weekends and overtime

during peak season. Team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electrical theory and PLC programming is a plus. SafetyRequirements

Must wear PPE (goggles, ear protection, steel-toed boots). Additional safety equipment will be provided.
