Warehouse Associate
As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, particularly in a temperature-controlled environment. Your primary responsibilities will include handling food and beverage distribution, operating various types of forklifts, and managing inventory using onboard POS computers and RF scan guns.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, both sit and stand, and electronic pallet jacks for single and double pallets.
- Pick orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, and RF scan guns.
- Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
- Perform pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, and staging for loading outbound trailers.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a temp-controlled environment and food/beverage distribution.
- Proficiency in forklift operation, including sit and stand lifts and electronic pallet jacks.
- Experience with RF scanners and order picking.
- 1+ years of experience in distribution.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
- Good judgment and ability to operate forklifts safely and lawfully.
- Ability to work in a cold environment and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment
You will work in a cold storage distribution setting, where temperatures are very low. Full clothing bibs are provided to ensure comfort and safety in this environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
