About the Role:
The People Support Center Representative - Benefits & Employee Services serves as the first point of contact for employees and managers seeking support on HR matters. This role provides assistance with benefits administration, HR transactions, policy inquiries, and general Tier 1 employee services. The position ensures accurate processing, compliance with policies and regulations, and delivers a positive employee experience through timely, empathetic, and effective support.
Responsibilities:
Health & Welfare Benefits Administration Support and advise employees on medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness programs. Assist with annual open enrollment, qualifying life events (QLEs), and related campaigns. Ensure compliance with insurance, tax, and regulatory requirements. Retirement Plan Administration Provide guidance on 401(k), deferred compensation, and retirement plan enrollment. Maintain accurate records on beneficiaries, hire dates, and service breaks. Employee & Manager Support Respond to Tier 1 inquiries on HR policies, processes, and benefits via phone, email, or ticketing system. Provide guidance on leave requests, employment verifications, and HR self-service tools. People Transaction Processing Verify and process standard HR transactions (hires, terminations, job changes). Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry into HRIS (e.g., UKG). Document Management Maintain personnel records, including scanning, indexing, and secure filing. Ensure compliance with document retention requirements. Collaboration & Coordination Partner with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Operations teams to resolve cases. Share feedback and insights to improve processes and employee experience. Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in HR, shared services, customer service, or administrative support roles. 1 years of experience in benefits administration. Familiarity with HRIS systems Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with UKG Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese Essential Functions:
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with business partners, compliance and other teams within PC. Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Able to handle company and employee confidential information Effective Oral and written communication skills Ability to deal with dissatisfied customers. Work under minimal direction while following standard policies and procedures. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
