Surge Staffing is seeking a
Receptionist
for a permanent, full-time internal position out of our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio! This role offers the opportunity to assist the internal operations at Surge and by connecting various business calls from clients and customers to the appropriate contacts within the company, creating a real impact on the growth of the organization. If you are a high energy individual with a good work ethic and a great personality that shines through on the phone, we want to hear from you!
A typical day looks like:
Answer inbound calls and route accordingly to appropriate extensions Respond to inbound requests for information or directory services Place outbound calls as requested by staff Respond to inbound requests for information or directory services Self-monitor call times for adherence to efficiency goals Able to respond quickly and provide effective customer service in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills Some technical skill required in daily self-troubleshooting before escalating to IT support We're looking for candidates that have:
High school diploma Excellent speaking voice Superb customer service skills Knowledge of switchboards and phone systems
