Senior SQL Database Administrator

We are looking for an expert-level SQL Database Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing reliable, cost-effective, and secure support for business-critical production and non-production databases. Must-Have Skills and Experience:
6+ years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or later 4+ years of Windows Server Administration experience Experience in installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs Proficient in routine database maintenance, including creating and scheduling jobs, rebuilding indexes, and updating statistics Expertise in SQL Server native tools and services, such as SQL Server Profiler, Index Tuning Advisor, and Extended Events Strong skills in managing SQL Server security, auditing, and encryption Proficient in TSQL coding, tuning, and ETL methodologies Experience with SQL Server High Availability methods like Mirroring and Always On Experience in building and maintaining Windows Host and Guest Servers Proficient in PowerShell for administration tasks Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows Failover Cluster 24-hour support availability
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture Familiarity with industry security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, PII) Knowledge of cloud computing and storage mechanisms Firewall administration and maintenance Active Directory knowledge Email, SMTP, and Proxy Server troubleshooting Web Services development and support Strong communication skills, both oral and written
