Requirements
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with mechanical and electrical systems Hands-on knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Maintenance Mechanic Summary
Be responsible for troubleshooting problems, repairing equipment, and helping prevent breakdowns.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on production equipment. Perform troubleshooting to quickly get to the root cause of breakdowns. Carry out routine maintenance to keep machines in good working order. Replace or rebuild motors, bearings, belts, gears, and other machine parts. Read and understand machine manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Assist with new machine installs, adjustments, and upgrades. Work with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule. Document all repairs, maintenance work, and parts used. Follow all plant safety procedures and keep work areas clean .
