Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
A team of hotel renovation specialists dedicated to helping hotel owners and managers plan, coordinate, and execute every stage of the renovation process. With offices in Maryland, Florida, and California, along with remote locations in Washington, Nevada, Georgia, and Texas, we provide renovation services nationwide. While our core expertise is in guestroom renovations, we also bring extensive experience in public area and exterior projects.

The Assistant Project Manager will support Project Managers in overseeing hotel renovation projects while working closely with subcontractors, vendors, and clients. This role involves coordinating with project teams to assess project requirements from RFP documents and plans, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor quotes, managing purchasing and material tracking, negotiating subcontracts, and maintaining RFI and submittal logs. The Assistant Project Manager will also assist in preparing closeout documentation to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Upload, review, and organize bid documents.
Perform quantity take-offs and solicit subcontractor/vendor bids to assist in preparing preliminary project budgets.
Collaborate with the Project Team (Project Manager, Project Accountant, Superintendent) to establish schedule milestones, track materials, and coordinate subcontractor schedules.
Maintain and update project logs, including Submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders.
Review and approve invoices related to material purchases.
Participate in project team calls with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Travel to jobsites as needed for pre-bid/preconstruction meetings, floor punch inspections, or to represent the Project Manager.
Maintain accurate project documentation across all construction phases.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.
Education & Experience Requirements
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
Advanced skills in plan reading and use of estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) required.
Proficiency in Procore strongly preferred.
Prior experience in construction, hospitality, large-scale renovations, or estimating highly preferred.
Minimum of a high school diploma required; additional certifications, relevant college coursework, or formal training in project management, construction, or estimating preferred.
