A well-established manufacturing company in Santa Teresa, NM is seeking a reliable and observant Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company property. The ideal candidate will patrol the facility, monitor access points, and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures. This position requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Patrol the facility, including production areas, parking lots, and perimeter, to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.

• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the property.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and safety hazards.

• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, policy violations, or unsafe conditions.

• Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, logs, and daily activity records.

• Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.

• Assist employees, contractors, and visitors with questions and directions as needed.

• Collaborate with management and other staff to maintain a safe work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility security and operations.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or safety monitoring preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain alert and professional during long shifts.

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle emergencies calmly.

• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures preferred.

• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol the facility for extended periods.
