Location: Boston, MA (Onsite – Converse HQ)
Duration: Contract
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

About the Role

Converse Retail Marketing develops innovative strategies that shape the consumer experience and drive conversion across Converse-owned stores and retail partners. We’re seeking a Graphic Designer who can bring fresh, consumer-centric ideas to life through impactful retail marketing assets and 365 storytelling.

This role will report to the Director of Global Stores and focus on creating scalable, brand-right marketing plans and assets that connect consumers to Converse at every retail touchpoint. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, collaborative, and passionate about how consumers engage with Converse through product, platforms, and people.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop marketing assets for Converse retail environments, from concept to execution.
  • Translate briefs into high-quality, brand-right creative solutions that drive consumer engagement.
  • Support 365 marketing and storytelling initiatives, ensuring consistency across formats.
  • Build toolkits, signage, and training materials for in-store experiences and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Global Retail Concepts, Marketing, Design, and external vendors.
  • Conduct market visits (as needed) to evaluate execution and provide actionable feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic design or marketing, ideally within retail or consumer brands.
  • Strong design fundamentals with the ability to interpret briefs and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Experience with retail consumer journeys, visual merchandising, and multi-channel marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms (apps, email, SEO, performance marketing, social media).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform design and marketing decisions.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.
