The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Business Operations Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Analyze business operations and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to support strategic initiatives and operational goals.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor business performance and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to identify issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to management, highlighting key findings and proposed actions.
- Assist in the management of projects related to process improvements, system implementations, and other operational initiatives.
- Provide data analysis on operational performance from SFDC, 3M Grow, and other internally relevant sources of data.
- Prepare and present reports to drive business growth and communicate business updates to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with leaders to drive alignment and implement solutions.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or operations (completed and verified prior to start).
- Five (5) years of experience in business operations or analytics in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Possess additional certifications such as Sales Force Certification and/or PowerBI Data Analyst Certification.
- Ability to work confidently with senior leaders.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $109,202 - $133,469, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
