Project Support Specialist

Project Support Specialist Location: Sanford | Full-Time 7:30AM-4:30PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Support Specialist to join our production support team. In this role, you will assist in creating, reviewing, and managing the documentation that keeps our shop operations running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

This role is entry-level but we're looking for someone who has the potential to grow into a Project Manager. While it includes many of the day-to-day duties of a project manager, it does not involve customer interactions or managing entire projects. Instead, this position is more administrative and organizationalhelping keep the Project Manager on track with paperwork, ordering, and logistics. No prior management experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, print, and organize job travelers for the production floor.
• Attach appropriate documents to job travelers, including drawings, specifications, and quality documents.
• Manage incoming traveler requests and update priority lists accordingly.
• Save and organize all related project documents, such as specifications, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Review and cross-check bills of materials, layouts, and wiring diagrams for accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist Project Managers with paperwork, ordering, and logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with inventory software preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
