What You'll Do: Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished mechanical systems to verify adherence to quality standards. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assessments, preparing detailed reports for project stakeholders. Non-Conformance Management:
Identify non-conformance and discrepancies, document findings, and work with project teams to develop corrective action plans. Collaboration:
Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and contractors to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution. Training:
Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control processes, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement:
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during inspections and quality assessments. Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred. Experience:
3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the mechanical or construction industry. Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO), and quality assurance methodologies. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
