A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Device Test Engineer. Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: 6 months Location: Greenwood Village CO (On-site) As a Device Test Engineer, you will: Create and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile devices, focusing on cellular features such as 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and LTE. Analyze and document issues found during testing and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects. Re-test patched software to ensure issues are resolved and no new bugs are introduced. Work independently with minimal supervision, proactively identifying areas for improvement. Coach team members on testing tools, reporting methods, and process optimization. Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defect tracking. The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of experience in device testing. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with iOS-based cellular/mobile devices. Strong understanding of 3GPP standards, including 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, signaling call flows, and protocol layers (L1/L2/L3). Experience with modem chipsets such as Qualcomm (QCOM), MediaTek (MTK), and Samsung (LSI). Proficiency in modem logging and analysis tools like QXDM, QPST, XCAL, and XCAP. Familiarity with SIM/eSIM design and provisioning workflows. Experience in Wi-Fi and Passpoint (HS2.0/802.1x/WPA3) testing. Basic programming skills, especially in Python.
