Job Description:
Parsons Corporation
has an immediate opening for a
Principal Technical Consultant
in our construction group. The ideal candidate will be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the surveying and geometric aspects of the heavy construction industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide support in the development of a formwork traveler for light rail transit system base
Review dimensional details of traveler for compatibility with track geometric parameters
Advise on survey methods to control positioning of traveler and its components
Review track geometric specifications to ensure that traveler and survey are capable of achieving those specifications
Develop software as needed to compute parameters required for adjustment of traveler
Leads or consults on the execution of these advanced solution strategies
Works with company leadership and Project Managers to deliver professional technical services and solutions
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
20+ years extensive experience as a technical consultant in a related industry, including supervisory experience
Experience presenting information/assessments to senior personnel

Salary Range: $74.81 - $134.66
