Job Description

We are looking for a

Senior Salesforce Developer

to partner with an implementation vendor and client to drive the modernization program. This position will be

full-time

and

hybrid

in Newark, DE.

What You'll Do

Implementation Support: Partner with an implementation vendor and client to drive the modernization program

Retirement of Legacy Systems: Support the strategic retirement of state applications and infrastructure to align with modernization efforts

Large Data Migration: Engage in large-scale data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition to new platforms

QA Support: Collaborate with QA testers to identify and rectify issues in releases and production environments

Production Development Support: Provide ongoing support for production development, ensuring stability and performance of deployed solutions

Mentoring and Training: Mentor clients and team members on Salesforce benefits and offerings, enhancing their understanding and usage of the platform

Platform Maintenance: Oversee the overall maintenance and optimization of the Salesforce platform post-delivery, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization through 2026 and beyond

Coding and Development: Write and maintain clean, scalable Salesforce code to meet project requirements

Collaboration: Work closely with architects and vendor development teams to ensure alignment with project goals and technical standards

Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews for both internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and compliance

Release Management: Provide technical oversight on the release of software from Development through to Production, including hands-on delivery of deployment packages

Pipeline/Lifecycle Management: Manage the release pipeline, ensuring a smooth flow of code through the various environments (development, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production)

What You'll Need

Required:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development

Proficiency in Salesforce coding languages and best practices

Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:

Preferred certifications include Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Certified Industries CPQ Developer, or Salesforce Certified OmniStudio

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.?
