Location: New Hyde Park, NY
Pay Range: $20–$25/hour
About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for organization and customer service? We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic team in the construction industry. This role offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data entry from facility management systems into QuickBooks
Generate and monitor invoices using QuickBooks (training provided if needed)
Track invoice submissions across multiple online platforms
Maintain and organize hard copy and electronic files
Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up on tasks
Take notes during meetings and training sessions for future reference
Support the team with general administrative and clerical duties
Must-Have Skills
1+ year of office experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with QuickBooks
Experience in data entry or administrative support
