KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Administrative Assistant, Junior, to join our team. This position will perform work 100% at a Government on-site facility. Work will be split between St. Inigoes and Patuxent River.

This position will perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00 per hour. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.

Primary Duties:
- Perform general administrative functions to include:
- Drafting correspondence
- Receiving visitors
- Arranging conference calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Retrieves information as requested form records, email, minutes, and other related documents
- Schedule travel and reconcile expenses
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
- Train and supervise other clerical staff
- Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.
- Microsoft office proficiency.
- Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related discipline.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree plus four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted.
- In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED plus five (5) years of additional related work experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an administrative support role, desired.
