Join to apply for the Truck Driver role at Cambria.
This key position will deliver Cambria’s products to a specified route of fabricators on time and with accuracy in a friendly and professional manner. As a Truck Driver for Cambria, you will not only drive but also load and unload trailers, and perform other warehouse duties as needed, while providing a high level of customer service to our partners.
Responsibilities
- Retain knowledge of and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete daily bills of lading
- Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of truck
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records
- Report maintenance malfunctions immediately after discovery
- Verify product while loading/unloading inbound/outbound trailers
- Adhere to all safety requirements
- Safely operate forklifts and cranes as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial driving experience with a straight truck
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements
- Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee
- Ability to operate a straight truck with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to be forklift and crane certified
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve as needed
Travel and Physical Requirements
- Travel familiarity with region and routes
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight trips
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 300 lbs
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Walk up and down steps multiple times during shift
- Bend over multiple times during shift
Compensation and Benefits
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
