Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while transporting freight across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including flatbed and tractor-trailer units, while adhering to all transportation regulations.

Duties

• Operate trucks for the safe transportation of freight to designated locations.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.


• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.


• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.


• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.


• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).


• Familiarity with various truck types, including flatbed, Dump Trucks, and tractor-trailers.


• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.


• Knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures.


• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
