DUMP TRUCK DRIVER (CDL) Job at Branch Civil in Suffolk

Position Summary

Branch is seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Multi-Rear Axle Truck Driver to join our established and growing company. The driver will transport construction materials and may operate various types of beds such as dump, flatbed, or water tank, including water wagons, service trucks, hoist trucks, etc. The role may also involve pulling semi-trailers or trailers.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform oiling, greasing, servicing, and normal operating adjustments to equipment.
2. Conduct routine fueling, lubricating, and servicing of vehicles.
3. Load and unload materials and operate the vehicle safely.
4. Start and manipulate the vehicle as required.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of multi-rear axle truck driving experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

Position Type and Hours

This is a full-time position, typically involving 40+ hours per week. The employee must be available on-call during early or late hours to handle delays, weather issues, and emergencies.
