Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the number one priority and practice safe behaviors in everything you do.
• Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment. Keep aisles and egress clear; report unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
• Treat all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; be friendly and professional at all times. Recognize fellow Associates using company programs.
• Assist Customers as needed — be register-trained, help with merchandise, and answer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greet Customers with eye contact, a smile, and a welcome when appropriate; say "thank you" during transactions.
• Provide prompt and efficient responses to Customer Service requests. Respond to calls immediately and involve Store Leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks and merchandising duties to maintain a neat, clean, and well-presented store following company guidelines.
• Understand and follow Loss Prevention Awareness, MOS policies, and merchandise protection standards; safeguard confidential information and assets.

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use all Store equipment, stand/walk for extended periods, and move around the Store.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, reach, and stoop; occasional ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds.
