Pay rate: $46.00/hr
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Data Analyst – Operations (Plan Setup) will work as part of the Business Configuration Team and be responsible for the structure and benefit plan setup for EyeMed’s Managed Vision Care clients. The role requires deep familiarity with configuration of products within the Facets system, strong SQL skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure all types of managed vision care products in the system using the Product Key Sheet method and manual configuration.
• Ensure product configuration accuracy using appropriate tools for both manual and automated product creation.
• Write SQL queries to export and analyze data from databases for issue resolution and performance review.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product configuration issues independently.
• Serve as the point of contact for questions and issues raised to the Business Configuration production team.
• Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Account Managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely configuration.
• Self-manage assigned work queues to meet quality and turnaround time standards.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings for issue resolution and process improvements.
• Suggest and implement process or system enhancements to improve efficiency.
• Provide support to the management team for training, special projects, and issue resolution.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all configuration-related requests.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with a core claims administration system.
• At least 2 years of experience writing SQL queries and exporting data into Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Operations.
• Familiarity with claims adjudication for member and provider reimbursements.
• Experience with the Facets platform, especially within Claims, Provider, Network, and Product Benefit Configuration modules.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
