Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTi) is the technology team at the core of Blackstone’s businesses and growth initiatives. We build next-generation systems to manage risk, create efficiency, and improve transparency for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Generate analysis, data visualizations, and automate reporting to drive business initiatives.
  • Develop and support a python-based data intelligence platform, with emphasis on analytical deal analysis, investment processes, and monitoring current allocations.
  • Analyze and evaluate data sources for use in training or tuning AI models used within the firm.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders to understand processes and deliver data-focused solutions.
  • Leverage AI models and frameworks to derive insights and streamline workflows.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, identifying paths forward and solutions.
  • Develop proof-of-concept tools using open-source technologies (e.g., Jupyter, Bootstrap, GraphQL, and other web platforms).

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, intelligent, with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
  • Keen interest in financial markets with aptitude to work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong SQL background and understanding of modern data warehousing techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with Tableau, Sigma, or other BI software.
  • Python proficiency (NumPy, Pandas, etc.).
  • Preferred experience with Python dashboarding libraries (e.g., Panel) and analytical tools (e.g., Jupyter).
  • Strong foundation in statistics and mathematics.
  • Ability to combine disparate data sources and work with diverse data.
  • Experience with analytical methodologies and solving novel technical challenges.
  • Verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with business and technical teams; ability to author documentation for varied audiences.
  • Time and task management with the ability to handle multiple priorities and raise issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student.
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027.
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA; resume must be in PDF format.

Compensation and Additional Details

Expected annual base salary range: $110,000. Actual base salary will be determined by experience, skills, qualifications, and location. For roles outside the US, local compensation practices may apply. Additional compensation and benefits may be offered.
