Salary

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with SEC audit and review preparation.
• Support the monthly financial close and assist with reviewing and implementing accounting procedures.
• Assess and improve the quality of financial processes and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial statements for both public and private clients, including disclosures for audit, review, and compilation.
• Ensure the efficiency of engagements while developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Address accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Review accounting staff work and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting; CPA or working toward it preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of SEC accounting with a focus on derivatives and equity valuation preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Ability to respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
