Security Guard / EMT at Acts Retirement-Life Communities
Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking qualified candidates for the Security Guard / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position.
Responsibilities
- Under minimal direct supervision, ensure security and safety of the community by patrolling buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse.
- In emergency situations, determine the nature and magnitude of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures until further professional assistance can arrive.
- Conduct assessments, administer CPR, AED, and/or prescribed first-aid treatment at the site of the emergency and contact outside emergency services.
- Provide support during evening and night hours for residents and team members.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of experience in the security and/or emergency response field
- Valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification and/or Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Benefits and Compensation

Eligibility may vary based on status.
Pay Range: $17.36 - $20.65 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
