Exxpress Tire LLC is hiring: Delivery Driver in City of Syracuse

Overview

Exxpress Tire, a wholesale tire distributor, is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our team in the Greater Syracuse Area. The role involves transporting goods safely and timely, ensuring the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collecting and verifying the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and working collaboratively with the dispatcher.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise
• Performing basic truck safety checklists
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
• Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order\'s accuracy
• Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods
• Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Maintain a valid NY Driver\'s License
• Miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned
• Drive safely and considerately
• Notify your supervisor immediately if your license is suspended, expired, or if there are any driving violations
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Qualifications

• Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs
• A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
• 3 years of licensed driving experience
• Possess good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance
• Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus

Benefits & Schedule

• Full-Time
• Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
