What You’ll Do

The Concierge/Receptionist provides exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner. You greet visitors, address questions or concerns of prospective or current elders and families, and provide support to sales, marketing, and the business office. You manage the lobby experience for all visitors, paying attention to detail and using creativity to create positive experiences for current and prospective elders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming calls and take messages.
  • Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members in person and on the phone, creating a friendly, positive environment.
  • Assist leadership to support Life Enrichment, Marketing, and accounting tasks (events, directing calls for marketing, receiving invoices, sorting mail, etc.).
  • Monitor the entry area to keep it neat, clean, and inviting.
  • Receive and send packages for elders and assist with questions or concerns as requested.
  • Represent the community by role-modeling core values of goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun.

What You Will Bring

  • Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well with people in emotional or stressful situations.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience answering telephones and/or in a customer service role.
  • Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
