Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Human Resources Generalist – Venture Capital | West LA

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic HR initiatives set by senior leadership
• Oversee daily compliance processes including policy acknowledgments, required trainings, and documentation tracking
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for select roles, including screening, interview coordination, and offer process
• Administer performance management processes, review cycles, and feedback tools
• Handle payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries
• Coordinate HR trainings and ensure timely completion by employees
• Provide day-to-day HR support, addressing employee concerns and maintaining a positive employee experience
• Lead the implementation of culture-building initiatives and feedback mechanisms
• Maintain and optimize internal HR systems and tools

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within financial services, investment management, or a professional services environment
• Proven ability to manage both strategic initiatives and tactical HR operations
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance standards, and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
