The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food and Beverage areas of the store.

The role of a Starbucks Barista can provide you with:

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture in Starbucks
• Ability to provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ products
• Experience with food quality and freshness management
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

Typical Responsibilities

As a Starbucks Barista, your day may include:

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience, connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operations
• Upholding and maintaining the execution of Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks’ brand standards, and food safety standards
• Executing food and beverage processes such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and cleaning
• Supporting drive-up and digital order fulfillment processes
• Maintaining a welcoming environment and engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
• Following all safety, food handling, and cleanliness guidelines
• Participating in all required training and maintaining a culture of safety and ethical conduct

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience (preferred but not required)
• Welcoming attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to operate technology and resolve guest questions efficiently
• Attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

• Handling cash register operations accurately
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 44 pounds, and work in varying temperatures
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in environments with allergens and temperature variations
