Overview

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Dental Assistant. This role involves assisting dentists and providing direct patient care under a dentist’s supervision. The position offers growth opportunities within BJC.

Base pay range

$15.40/hr - $25.56/hr

Responsibilities

• Assists dentists in providing direct chair side dental care of the patient.
• Accurately documents all pertinent dental information in the patient chart/record.
• Ensures patient information is current in their chart/record.
• Ensures patient care supplies and equipment are kept up to par level and maintained in working order.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate dental care referrals as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 2-5 years
• Supervisor Experience: No Experience
• Licenses & Certifications: Dental Assistant Certificate

Preferred Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree
• Dentistry
• Experience: 5-10 years
