As a Part-Time Cleaning Person, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Grantsville, MD facilities clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You’ll be responsible for maintaining offices and living quarters during evening hours (typically 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend shifts as needed. With two to three weekly cleanings and approximately 20-30 hours of work per week, this position offers a steady schedule and the satisfaction of creating a safe, tidy environment for others.

What You’ll Do

• Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Suction clean carpeted areas and spot clean carpets
• Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, cupboards, radiators, shelves and fixtures
• Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
• Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, and showers

Working Conditions

• Must be able to bend, reach overhead, and climb stairs
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted
• Must adhere to all health, safety and environmental standards

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of relevant work history
