About the Role:
We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and keeping systems running smoothly. In this role, you’ll handle everything from Microsoft 365 and Windows servers to network basics and day-to-day tech support. You’ll be the go-to person for employees who need help, whether that’s fixing a laptop, setting up a new user, or troubleshooting connectivity issues.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Microsoft 365 tools like email, user accounts, and device security (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online).
- Keep our Windows Server environment in check, including accounts, access, and group policies.
- Help with everyday networking tasks such as VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic firewall rules.
- Coordinate with outside vendors (internet providers, hardware/software partners, service contractors) when issues come up.
- Handle imaging, setup, and repair of desktops and laptops.
- Write up simple guides, procedures, and diagrams to make things easier for the team.
- Provide onsite support—sometimes moving between buildings—to help employees directly.
- Assist coworkers through phone, email, text, or our ticketing system.
- Support remote access options like VPN, RemotePC, and RDP so people can work from anywhere.
- Take care of printers, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment when they need attention.
What We’re Looking For:
- A couple of years of IT support experience (or equivalent hands-on knowledge).
- Comfortable working with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Familiar with networking basics (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Good at troubleshooting tech issues and finding practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills—you’ll be helping people with different levels of technical know-how.
- Someone who doesn’t mind walking between buildings and doing in-person support.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with IT ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and remote access tools.
- Exposure to IT support best practices (like ITIL).
Why You’ll Love It Here:
This role is perfect for someone who likes variety—one day you might be setting up a new server policy, the next you’re fixing a printer or helping a coworker get back online. You’ll gain experience across multiple areas of IT and be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and problem-solving.
