Local Driver Job

We are seeking an experienced local driver to join our team.

Job Description:

Pick up and deliver cargo to various destinations, usually within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center. Utilize trailers for loading and unloading cargo. Responsibilities may vary depending on terminal location.

• Loading and unloading cargo efficiently.
• Performing tasks such as check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor setup, and cargo pickup and delivery.
• Exercising independent judgment to build and tear down trailers effectively, while complying with weight distribution laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Operating a forklift when needed.
• Completing routine paperwork and logging loading sheets accurately.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of verifiable experience with tractor/trailers (candidates with less than a year may be eligible for training).
• A Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, with no automatic restriction.
• A minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• A good stable work record.
• A safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• The ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
