Job Title: IT Specialist – Mid-Level

Client: State of NY

Agency: OCFS

Position Duration: 24 Months

Description: Day to day tasks for this role include providing IT support and related activities as described below.

Responsibilities

• Provide CONNECTIONS user support via in-person, email and telephone
• Provide direct, on-site instruction to individual users and small groups
• Provide instruction on newly released functionality
• Deliver presentations to line staff
• Monitor compliance with data entry requirements
• Review training materials
• Provide technical assistance with data warehouse

Mandatory Qualifications

1. 44 months of experience providing IT support in a Child Welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services.
2. 44 months of experience providing implementation support services for new application builds in a child welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services.
3. 44 months of experience providing on-site user support for a large scale (15k+ users) distributed child welfare application. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services.
4. 44 months of experience working on a large scale (15k+ users) roll out starting with a needs assessment, moving to production rollout and ending with ongoing support.
5. Bachelor's Degree
