The Company is seeking a VP, Business Affairs to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring, drafting, and negotiating a high volume of music-related agreements, including artist recording agreements, licenses, profit share and joint ventures, distribution agreements, and various other deals. This role requires providing strategic legal advice on a wide range of issues, coordinating with the financial department on profit and loss analysis, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations. The VP will also be involved in day-to-day business and legal matters, and must be adept at balancing legal considerations with business objectives.
