Embedded Linux Field Engineer
to develop our embedded Linux SDK written in Rust. You’ll be working with cutting-edge hardware companies as they integrate for the first time or add support for newly built features. within Nordic Semiconductor. Key responsibilities
Work with sales and customer success teams to design solutions for prospects and customers to solve real-world business problems. Improve the Linux SDK to work on every major embedded Linux distribution across IoT devices. Engage directly with firmware engineers at cutting-edge hardware companies to integrate the platform. Build out and improve reference examples, SDK documentation, and automated tests. Ship code early and often to customers, seeing devices in the wild running your code. Qualifications and skills
3+ years of experience writing Rust/C/C++ code on embedded Linux devices, typically Arm CPUs. Well-versed in Yocto or Buildroot. Great communicator, credible with technical buyers, and clear with business stakeholders. Organized, efficient, and passionate about automated testing and CI/CD. Personal Skills
Love teaching and solving problems, eager to have a major impact on product, business, and culture. Caring and kind: other people do better when they work with you. Strong communicator, both conversationally and in written form. Excited about contributing across firmware, operating systems, web, and distributed systems. Working for Nordic

The salary range for this role is (110,000 - 187,000 USD). Exact salary is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus and long-term incentive plan. Medical and Dental benefits. 100% employer paid option for employees. Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account.
