Overview Project Director (PD) position is responsible for the management, or the oversight/direction of managing, all phases of project/program planning and execution to ensure project objectives are met. Projects include turnkey generation projects. Fossil generation experience with natural gas combined cycle projects. These include but are not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration. Additionally, this position is highly involved in funding management including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting for the project/program under their responsibility. This position may have direct reports consisting of Project Managers and Project Controls and/or other resources such as construction management, engineering, administrative support staff and contingent workers. These projects typically involve high scope complexity.

The PD position is accountable for projects with high levels of risk that involve team members who are sourced from multiple organizations, rely on multiple interdependent vendors, and stakeholders that include Senior Management, External Agencies, and likely the Board of Directors (among others). PD’s serve as unifying agents providing leadership, management, decision making, direction, coordination, and control of overall projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the Company. This is a senior leadership/executive level position with progression to this level restricted by business unit needs to manage the portfolio. Responsibilities

Create / Staff / Lead Project Organization. Provide leadership, oversight management, delegation, and coordination to internal and external organizations providing services to the project (development, engineering, project controls, estimating, construction management, supply chain, legal, risk, EHS, QA/QC, operations, communications, regulatory, security, fuels, transmission, etc.). Manage matrixed team members, staff project teams, manage performance, and redeploy resources at project closure. Establish and maintain communications among all project/program stakeholders. Structure, lead, and/or assist in leading all project-related meetings and reports to ensure open communication between team members, key stakeholders, and management (monthly project reviews, kickoff meetings, weekly reports, monthly reports). Ensure Project Plan and all reports are developed and managed according to Corporate Standards. Present reports to management/governance teams. Assure Excellence in Project Planning. Drive project planning according to Corporate Standards and Policies, including funding justification, scope definition, team integration, and monitoring/controlling behaviors. Assure Excellence in Project Execution. Define objectives, scope, roles, deliverables, WBS, schedule, procurement strategy, budgets, risk plans, quality plans, safety plans, environmental plans, security plans, data management, communications, change management, and project close out. Provide leadership, development, and mentoring of PMs and PC staff. Coach and mentor team members, sharing tools and expertise in line with corporate standards. Expert Presentation / Interpersonal Skills. Ability to create and deliver project/business case presentations to Senior Management / project sponsors, and interface with management, outside agencies, and potentially the board of directors. Basic / Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 9 Years of project management work-related experience or High School Diploma/GED and 13 years of project management work-related experience Desired Qualifications

Strong expertise in Project Management with experience leading large EPC turnkey generation projects. Fossil generation experience with natural gas combined cycle projects preferred. Skills in Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Risk Management, and Employee Management/Development. Leadership and Oversight Project Management Center of Excellence recommends PMP within 24 months of placement Utility Experience; Construction Management knowledge; Expertise in project-related Scheduling, Cost Controls, Quality, Risk; Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety measures/controls Travel Requirements 5-15% Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable) Visa Sponsored Position No Posting Expiration Date: Tuesday, September 9, 2025
