Lead Investigator, Compliance at GXO Logistics, Inc. GXO is seeking a Lead Investigator, Compliance to manage Compliance investigations globally from intake to completion. This role includes oversight of other internal investigations and managing outside counsel and investigation-related vendors. The role collaborates with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Finance, IT, Safety, and Security to investigate and remediate complex violations of company policy. Serve as Lead investigator on domestic and international investigations involving allegations of discrimination and harassment; conflicts of interest; fraud, waste, and abuse of company resources; accounting irregularities; and other violations of company policy Conduct thorough, timely, and objective investigations, including initial case assessment, document preservation, collection, review and analysis; leading witness interviews; developing findings and remediation; drafting investigative reports; and presenting findings to stakeholders Act as a global point of contact for advice and mentorship on investigation issues; review, implement, and train on internal investigation procedures and related compliance controls Recommend corrective action, post-investigation improvements, and remediation strategies, including policy changes Liaise with GXO leadership to provide investigation updates and align on next steps Leverage data to identify trends and develop reports, metrics, and updates on internal investigations for stakeholders Support the GXO Ethics & Compliance team through risk management systems, risk assessments, and remedial/risk mitigation measures Apply consistent process oversight and engage stakeholders to understand monitoring activities, audits, and controls for quality assurance across Compliance Support integration of new markets and business units into the compliance investigation program as the company grows Partner with internal audit, legal and SOX leaders What You Need To Succeed At GXO
At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in a related field 7-10 years of experience conducting investigations Experience with Navex EthicsPoint or equivalent case management software Experience with Microsoft Office Strong ability to convey findings verbally and in writing Strong emotional intelligence and conflict management skills Familiarity with regulatory requirements for internal investigation programs (i.e. U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, Dodd-Frank, Sarbanes-Oxley, EU Whistleblowing Directive) Ability to work across time zones and regions Travel Requirement: averaging 25% It'd Be Great If You Also Have
JD strongly preferred Additional Language Skills; Spanish a plus Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification Experience working for a multinational company Knowledge of audit, financial and accounting concepts About GXO
