Job Description The General Manager is a brand ambassador of Es Vedra Cinemas' dine-in and traditional theaters, bowling, virtual reality, food and beverage, and gaming operations. They coordinate events, strategize revenue-generating opportunities, and maximize sales to achieve Es Vedra Cinemas’ goals. They provide leadership and development to management and team members to maintain a professional and safe work environment with the tools needed to succeed.
Responsibilities
Train, coach and develop team members in their specific job functions.
Interviews, hires and evaluates team members.
Prepare administrative and special reports for senior management/corporate office.
Be responsible and accountable for cash handling procedures and policies to avoid discrepancies.
Inspect building (including parking lot and lawn) and equipment conditions.
Initiate repair and maintenance on building, property and equipment according to company policy.
Organize and conduct team meetings and training sessions.
Control costs, including all direct operating expenses; purchase and order inventory and other supplies needed for daily operations.
Monitor risk management as it pertains to venue, including team member and guest safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and proper handling, reporting and investigation of accidents.
Ensure team members meet Es Vedra Cinemas’ guest service standards by performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties and proper staffing in each area.
Work effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, management or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of dining theater, entertainment center or restaurant operations management experience in high-volume operation
Minimum 3 years of F&B management experience in a high-volume management role ideally with full-service bar and kitchen
Proven track record of operational excellence
Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification
Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Comfortable with flashing lights and loud noises
