Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM. We are looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
As a Tableau Product Marketing Senior Lead, you will be responsible for defining the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for products within the Tableau portfolio. You’ll be the voice of our product, translating the power of Tableau into compelling stories that resonate with customers and drive business growth. At your core you are a storyteller: simplifying complex concepts and crafting stories that are human, easy to relate to, grounded in an understanding of our products, and that address the key needs of our customers. There are opportunities to grow recently launched products, as well as market-leading solutions, to help organizations do data-driven decision making better.
Your Key Responsibilities
Be a Storyteller: Partner with Product Management to develop and deliver differentiated product messaging that distills product capabilities into key value propositions and brings them to life through call decks, demos, event presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
Drive Go-to-market Strategy: Create go-to-market plans and enable Salesforce's global Sales and Solution Engineering teams to ensure that they are able to identify opportunities, position our product, and drive deals to close.
Create Compelling Content: Collaborate with Content Strategy to produce high-impact marketing materials for all stages of the funnel.
Orchestrate Success: Align with cross-functional teams—from Product, Campaigns, Creative Sales, and Solution Engineering—to drive pipeline and revenue.
Present and Engage: Represent Tableau at global conferences and events, sharing our story directly with customers.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in marketing, product management, customer success at a high tech company, or similar. MBA is a plus, but not required.
A passion for data and analytics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customers.
Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas, work collaboratively, and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution.
Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content.
Proven ability to work well cross-functionally and with customers and executives.
Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
Experience working with direct distribution (sales) teams and channel partners.
Strong Google Slides and/or Apple Keynote skills.
