Social Media Creative Director

to lead our digital presence, guide a talented team, and collaborate across functions to make Heritage’s social channels indispensable for collectors. This role may be based in Dallas or Beverly Hills, with travel as needed. Location:

Dallas or Beverly Hills.

Compensation:

$150-$200K + bonus, commensurate with experience. Essential duties & responsibilities are listed below. Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) that supports corporate marketing objectives and grows reach, engagement, and loyalty. Lead day-to-day operations and manage a team of social media professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support. Oversee creation of visually compelling, authentic content highlighting Heritage’s diverse categories. Manage the social media content calendar to ensure relevance, engagement, and timeliness. Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and measurement. Collaborate with Consignment Directors for interviews with experts and consignors across categories; work with Video department to produce high-quality photo and video content optimized for social. Cultivate a forward-thinking, creative team culture; champion new formats, emerging platforms, and breakthrough ideas. Transform key cultural and auction moments into standout social campaigns. Partner with Public Relations and Marketing teams to align social campaigns with broader initiatives and announcements. Set, track, and analyze KPIs to optimize content and campaigns using data and insights. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices; apply knowledge to enhance the organization’s strategy. Build relationships with influencers, customers, and partners to extend reach. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging; travel to cover auctions and events as needed; be prepared for occasional travel between Beverly Hills and Dallas. Qualifications

Education & Experience: Extensive experience in social media marketing, including at least 3 years in a management role. Proven track record of multi-platform campaigns (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Strong analytical skills with ability to translate metrics into decisions. Excellent writing, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage a team and collaborate cross-functionally. Interpersonal skills and strong interview abilities. Deep understanding of social media technologies, trends, and best practices. Experience with social media advertising, including budgeting, targeting, and measurement. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives. Benefits
