Location: Anywhere in Country EY is seeking a hands-on, technically oriented Manager to join our Tech Consulting team and deliver data-driven insights and solutions to Industrials & Energy clients. You will guide clients through analytics, data governance, and modern data platforms, with a strong focus on Palantir Technologies. You will be technically engaged, building solutions using Palantir Foundry tools (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver) and other data technologies, while also mentoring teams of strategists and engineers. You will advise clients on data strategies, governance, and modern data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunities to shape data strategies across client operations. You will design and build analytics solutions that deliver business value, collaborating with data and analytics professionals, management, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Key responsibilities Understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical requirements. Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions. Stay up to date with trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Your Key Responsibilities Build, deploy, and maintain Palantir Foundry solutions (Pipeline Builder workflows, Workshop applications, AIP Agent Studio automations, Contour integrations, Quiver visualizations). Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across multiple domains. Define and execute the Data & AI strategy for Industrials, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas or Utilities clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and champion data literacy programs, training, and change management to embed a data-driven culture. Communicate analytical findings through dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and technical audiences. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, IT, engineering, and executive leadership. Stay informed on emerging technologies, industrial domain trends, Palantir Foundry, and AI platforms. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT. Oversee cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to solve complex business problems. Lead workstream delivery and ensure quality in all processes. Engage with clients daily, participate in working sessions, and identify opportunities for additional services. Skills And Attributes For Success Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects effectively. Ability to build and manage client relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in a quantitative or technical field with either prior consulting experience or Industrials & Energy company experience preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in industrial, energy, or related sectors. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and related tools. Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, compliance, and policy creation. Experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures. Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, or similar. Experience with big data and cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop). Ability to lead technical delivery and manage small teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains. Mentoring mindset and ability to build high-performing data teams. Understanding of regulatory and data privacy implications in industrial or energy sectors. Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Ideally, you’ll also have Certifications in Palantir, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture. Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques. Strong emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques; knowledge of ML concepts. Industry knowledge of data engineering trends.
