About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven
Associate Director, Paid Media
to lead the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel paid media campaigns. This role will oversee a team of media planners and buyers, manage client relationships (or internal stakeholders), and drive performance across channels including paid social, paid search, programmatic, and display. Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and execution of full-funnel paid media campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic, etc.) Translate business objectives into media strategies that drive measurable results (traffic, conversions, ROAS, etc.) Manage and mentor a team of media managers, ensuring excellence in campaign execution and performance reporting Own media budgets and oversee ongoing optimizations to maximize return on investment Partner closely with analytics, creative, and content teams to align messaging, targeting, and campaign execution Evaluate media performance through tools like Google Analytics, platform dashboards, and reporting software; make data-informed recommendations Stay current on platform changes, privacy regulations, and emerging trends to keep the team ahead of the curve Present campaign strategies and performance results to clients or senior leadership Qualifications
6–8+ years of experience in paid media, with a strong focus on performance marketing and digital channels Proven track record managing multi-channel campaigns and large budgets Experience managing and mentoring teams Strong knowledge of ad platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, TikTok, DV360, etc. Deep analytical skills; comfort with data and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Excel) Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation Agency experience preferred but not required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field Nice to Have
Experience with attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, or incrementality testing Familiarity with MarTech platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Segment Google or Meta certifications Seniority level
