Overview
Lead SAP Vertex Consultant at Infosys. This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle, including business process consulting, problem definition, solution design, development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building. Responsibilities
Contribute to different phases of the consulting lifecycle and shape value-adding consulting solutions that meet changing client needs. Intensely involved in business process consulting; define problems and propose/create solutions. Play an important role in development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building. Help detail the project scope and support the clients digital transformation efforts. Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education. At least 7 years of information technology experience. This position is based in Austin, TX. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications
At least 7 years of Vertex implementation experience. Experience with Vertex setups (Tax Product Category, Tax Product Driver, Tax Assist Rules, etc.). Experience in Vertex integration with SAP and eCommerce platforms. US and international indirect tax experience. SAP and Vertex ECM/CC experience preferred. Tax invoicing experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with the team on technical requirements. Good team player with willingness to learn new areas. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
