BRGs 340B team is one of the Healthcare Analytics practice\'s largest and fastest-growing groups. The 340B team supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on navigating the challenges and complexities of the 340B program. Our group is the established market leader in data and technology solutions related to the most pressing 340B-related issues for an impressive client base, including the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the US. Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program. Our 340B group is expanding its talented product and development team. We are seeking an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager who combines strong managerial expertise with solid hands-on technical capabilities and an eye for scalable design and architecture. You will manage a team of 15-20 software engineers across innovative software solutions in healthcare analytics. This is a new role due to team growth. Job title and compensation to be determined based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities
Lead, coach and grow a passionate team of 5-10 software engineers. Collaborate with leadership and key business stakeholders to prioritize and drive development and support of applications. Aid in development and execution of the application roadmap, ensuring alignment with charter, business priorities, and customer needs. Ensure applications are designed for scale, performance, and maintainability. Maintain a focus on quality and deliver outcomes aligned with customer needs and timelines. Technical Skill Set
5+ years of software development experience in one or more of the following languages: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and/or Go/Golang. Experience with Agile SDLC, Jira, GitHub, Git (git-flow, merge, rebase, squashing, branch management) and CI/CD. Experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, Docker, and/or Microsoft Azure is a plus. 7+ years of solid software development experience. 2+ years of direct experience as an engineering manager leading a team of at least 5 engineers. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Proven track record of building diverse technical teams, promoting collaborative culture, and supporting career growth. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment with ownership. Experience with code quality, continuous delivery, and automated testing. Comfortable working in an agile environment and driving improvements in ways of working. Experience building scalable, user-friendly web applications. Great written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to leadership. Salary Range:
