Manages Shop Floor Scheduling activities in the Production Area. This includes the management of visual systems to communicate and monitor the sequence of production orders and creating and maintaining sequenced production execution that, through production changeover optimization, will ensure maximum capacity utilization to achieve the master production schedule. Job Responsibilities

Schedule production for specified products and production lines, understanding all physical and manning constraints of these lines. Ensure Build Plan is feasible and balanced against finite/demonstrated capacity. Include all phase-in/out, localization and transfer plans as well as new programs development/prototyping. Base the plan on SIOP agreed working calendar and include all planned downtime (holidays, routine maintenance, line closures). Ensure plan is in line with supplier/subcontractor available supply capacity and is supportable with available WIP and FG packaging. Provide input for Material Requirement Planning and Vendor Scheduling processes. Proactively communicate/escalate potential MPS issues/constraints to management to trigger preventive actions and mitigate supply risk. Monitor manufacturing output/performance daily against the plan and address deviations from the plan. Monitor stock cover daily to avoid stockouts or overstocks by adjusting the plan or raising issues with the Planning Leader. Manage inventory levels of materials used for production by reviewing WIP levels and communicating with Purchasing on lead times. Regularly analyze inventory target levels versus customer demand to optimize status and identify improvement opportunities. Provide communication/feedback to program/business line teams regarding potential supply issues and forecast accuracy improvements. Liaise with PM team to support production planning related to new programs launch and prototyping activities. Monitor WIP inventory for potential write-offs to support planning/decision-making and minimize impact. Ensure KPIs are monitored and apply a PDCA approach with A3 where deviations occur to deliver targets sustainably (e.g., Schedule Adherence, Customer DSA, Inventory Turns). Participate in supply chain and plant performance related continuous improvement projects. Use production change-over matrix to convert weekly MPS into a detailed shop floor plan covering 1–2 weeks. Maximize shared manufacturing resource output/utilization while ensuring coherence with MPS product mix, volumes and required availability dates. Plan, develop, and prioritize schedules for production work centers to maximize performance and minimize delays. Collaborate with PMO to understand production requirements and facilitate their execution on the floor; maintain planning tools (line-of-balance, work center throughput, and work center priority lists) to focus on delivery of critical components. Manage work orders including sales order analysis, release to production, and coordination of requirements across production work centers. Job Qualifications
