Job Title: Software Engineer II Location: 50 West San Fernando St., Suite 1800, San Jose, CA 95113 *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in San Jose, CA. Job Duties: Fix bugs in the TTD platform, analyze performance, and improve software components. Participate in designing, costing, and specifying requirements for new features requested by clients. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design systems and analyze project requirements. Collect, store, modify, and analyze data to support data-driven decisions. Design, develop, and modify software systems, including building models for predicting or measuring outcomes. Build testing and validation tools for software components. Define and measure system KPIs. Deploy software components and develop or utilize monitoring systems. Engage with internal customers on system requirements, design, and maintenance. Plan and execute projects within 1-6 months, prioritizing tasks based on ROI. Apply modern software engineering techniques and best practices independently. Salary: $151,400 - $227,000 / year Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (U.S. or foreign equivalent). Two (2) years of experience in designing, building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software systems. Experience with: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, C#, Java, NodeJS, and SQL.
