We are now looking for a Senior Firmware Developer to join our team in San Diego. What You’ll Do
Develop new features and enhance existing features of our current product offering and factory firmware. Participate in maintenance activities including bug fixing and automated functional and unit test improvements. Collaborate with domain experts and provide your own expertise to deliver world-class solutions and embedded systems. Work with low level C/C++ programming, debugging, embedded programming, sensors, and wireless communications. Collaborate across teams including science, hardware, test, and mobile application development, contributing to in-house tools within a culture of cooperation, trust, equality, and flexibility. This position is based in San Diego and follows a hybrid work model. You will be in the office approximately 3 days a week to support a cohesive team environment while accommodating personal work styles and commitments. Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have: 5+ years of relevant experience Strong skills in C/C++ programming Expertise in MCU programming on real-time platforms Experience with embedded RTOS such as Zephyr is a plus Experience with automated functional and unit testing Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills Python or other scripting knowledge Understanding of measurement techniques and Bluetooth Low Energy communications Good communication skills Bonus Points
Interest or experience in sensor data processing Experience using oscilloscopes and other measurement equipment Experience in system-level debugging and analysis Benefits
