The Head of Portfolio Implementation supports the Portfolio Manager and analysts by executing investment strategies, ensuring compliance, and managing client-specific guidelines. This role acts as a critical liaison between investment teams, trading, and operations to oversee order origination, cash flow management, and portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate combines hands-on execution experience with a focus on operational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Portfolio Manager and Analysts to implement investment strategies across all client and product types, including funds, and separately managed accounts. Monitor portfolio dispersion and recommend rebalances or adjustments to Portfolio Manager. Conduct pre-trade compliance reviews; ensure portfolio positions adhere to client and regulatory guidelines and coordinate resolution with Compliance and Client facing teams. Monitor and manage cash levels across portfolios to meet client directives. Perform account onboarding and transition activities; translate client guidelines into OMS rules. Respond to ad hoc requests from Portfolio Manager and analysts and provide analytical support to enhance portfolio deliverables. Coordinate corporate action elections in collaboration with the PM team. Lead process improvements, automation initiatives, system enhancements and control improvements. Perform order management workflows and conduct portfolio analysis using the platform. Work with outsourced trader to ensure best execution. Participate in Best Execution monitoring and review, help identify areas for improvement. Monitor post-trade compliance of portfolios and develop post-trade reporting. Contribute to new product development and testing initiatives. Maintain controls and procedures for order origination and compliance. Responsible for procedural changes, control updates, and project updates. Adapt department procedures in response to new products, regulatory changes, and organizational shifts. Requirements: 3+ years of investment management experience. Proficiency in Enfusion OMS, Lightkeeper, or similar investment systems. Strong knowledge of investment products and regulatory guidelines. Experience with trading strategies, and guideline management. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaison between cross functional teams. Strong familiarity and skills in Excel, Bloomberg, and FactSet.
